All Natural Animal Repellent by Shake-Away: "Looking for an Animal Repellent that is Easy to Use and Safe around your home? Shake-Away is your Solution for Getting Rid of Pests invading your space."

Darn those woodchucks are cute... are you sure they are pests???

Buying your weeds: Mistakes Beginning Gardeners make Part 7 - Suite101.com: "I have also been mystified by this aberrant behavior. Why do people buy the very same plants that may be flourishing in abandoned sites. Many times you can save plants when they demolish an old building. All you have to do is ask. Recyle these plants!"

Part of my plan: also to propagate and sell the plants growing native here.

The Garden Gate: Gardening in Illinois

BY THE WAY... I'm back! It's been too long & I plan to be on here much more now.

The Garden Gate: Gardening in Illinois A unique resource for gardeners in East Central Illinois, Gardening in Illinois provides horticultural information for our area, as well as information about area organizations and interesting places to visit.

Snakeroot Organic Farm Home Page Snakeroot Organic Farm is a two-acre MOFGA certified organic farm producing mixed vegetables and culinary and medicinal herbs. It is operated by Lois Labbe and Tom Roberts who have been farming together since 1990, and who have over 20 years experience growing organically in Maine.

I wish I had a two acre organic farm. I believe I could handle that.

Time to smell the prairie flowers Never plowed or cultivated, the untouched Spoon River bluff is one of few remaining links to a time in the 1800s when prairie still carpeted Illinois. History is not what attracts Morrisey to the hilly plot, though

Note that this gentleman says you DON'T NEED TO MOW!
